I enjoyed looking at your website, it is well done and easy to navigate.

I came accross your website while researching my family history. One of the photos you have posted is my great-great-great Grandfather (Hiram Brundage). I would be interested to know if there are any addtional pictures of him or his family.

I am also researching Holiday, Pfeil, Griffin, Redigan, and Wolgermoth families from Alder Gulch and Virgina City.

Admin reply: Thank you for visiting our site. For research assistance, please call us at 406-683-5027.

Beaverhead County is a wonderful place to know about as it's people have contributed greatly to the success of Montana and the USA. All of the pioneers and their descendants should be very proud. I've found many places to discover now that there are several internet sites about the area. This is one.

Admin reply: Dear Descendent, we are very pleased to have this site. It enables those living outside Beaverhead County and Montana to visit our community and to know that there is a resource for them to research and learn of their heritage. This site is another Jacoby Lowney Web. He has several sites dedicated to the area's history which include the www.glendalemontana.com site, a look into the area's mining history. Beaverhead County was born out of Mining with the discovery at Bannack City in 1862. On our links page, you can learn all about the Bannack State Park or by visiting their site at www.bannack.org, Thanks for stopping by.

What a wonderful website, well presented and information is easily navigated. The Beaverhead County Museum is blessed to have a dedicated Board of Trustee's and Board Association members. Their hard work can be experienced throughout the museum. Great job to all!

Admin reply: Dear Candi, Thank You for stopping by our site.. We are definately blessed to have the people we do within the Museum. We also owe a huge gratitude to those who donate their time by answering the telephones and taking care of the day to day needs of the museum. We have great volunteers. It is defiately an effort that is far and wide. What can we say except that, "We love our community and our county".

I think it is a shame that the museum is without another Director. Bette Hull did an exceptional job. Once again, Politics and Drama take center stage. Bette, good luck! Robin

I just found your site on Dillon and Beaverhead County. I descend from a Dillon family and would like to learn more. I didn't get to ask my father any questions before he died so I am having to do the footwork myself. What are your research fees? Thank You, Brad

Admin reply: Dear Brad, A search of our database reveals that we had a "Doctor Glick" of Bananck City and later of the Bryant Mining District. Would you by chance be a descendent of this doctor? Much has been written about him and his affiliation and aid provided to our "infamous" Henry Plummer. Please let us know? BCM

How absolutely wonderful!! This puts to shame sites of some large well known museums around MT & surrounding states. Not quite... but almost as great as visiting your fun museum in person. Congratulations... I'm truely impressed!! Good luck with the site, Stormymontana
